On November 19, 2019, VMware appointed Andrew Munk, age 55, to serve as its Principal Accounting Officer effective December 7, 2019. Mr. Munk succeeds Kevan Krysler, who is resigning effective December 7, 2019 for an opportunity with another publicly traded company. Mr. Munk has served as Vice President, Corporate Controller of VMware since April 2016 and as VMware’s Vice President of Global Financial Processes from October 2013 to April 2016. Before joining VMware, Mr. Munk spent 14 years in controller and accounting positions of increasing responsibility at Applied Materials, Inc., a provider of semiconductor manufacturing equipment and services, most recently as its Vice President, Global Accounting Controller.
